if i was you i would go for two feet jump, that way you'd be able to block your horizontal speed and convert it in vertical speend much easier. just my 2 cents worth... i come from volleyball so my advice is strongly oriented :)

Coach Selby, when I was 5' 7 I was able to grab the rim, and for awhile I was able to dunk. Now I am a little over 6' and can grab the rim easily, even if I'm standing under the hoop with no start. However, I can't dunk very easily. When I go to jump(I'm a 1 foot jumper) I feel like I'm going forward instead of up, and I don't feel the explosion I used to feel when I was shorter. I am in better shape now, but I dont feel like I am getting my power into my jumps. Any suggestions?
