  • his left side on the kicks are not as accurate or balanced as the right. Does anyone else see this?

  • Since Uechi-ryu Karate is based on Shaolin Kung Fu it would only seem proper for them to have the front foot as they do. The Bow and Arrow stance for Shaolin Kungfu should have the front foot turned inward at a 45 degree angle, and the rear foot is 180 degrees behind the front foot, also with the foot at 45 degree angle. The rear heel should be lining up with the front ball of forward foot. The front knee should also not pass beyond the foot. The stance is relatively wide.
