@a1exandearth I just wear them out too fast, and ultex gives a nice bite and attack, while staying nicely edged after hours of playing. I've really been looking at the Petrucci Jazz picks, though.

@FourthHorseman666, well one thing that I found interesting is that the harder you squeeze between your thumb and index fingers, the more tension you create with the pick, so it kinda makes it more stiff, but thanks for the feedback. I can never make up my mind with picks but overall I'd say I like the .60 dunlop picks because the grip and the diversity of playing chords well and single notes

@a1exandearth Paul uses a .60 tortex, but I would recommend an ultex or jazz pick for this. I have no idea how he can possibly play using that thin ass pick
-
The notes are actually easy to remember (for me)
But my fucking god the alternate picking is the biggest pain in the ass.

throws guitar out window, I give up

Thinking just the same thing myself.

Paul is for guitarists what Michelangelo was for painters. He's such a passionate and articulate musician and with very little to no ego included.

Awsome!! and very didatic, easy to learn and he just give us enough info, more than that anybody would be able not even to memorize all the stuff!!! our brain would really explode!!!!booooom
a couple things that are really cool about that piece. 1. That is a VERY hard, controlled tempo. So much harder than a full speak shred. 2. Talk about doing things that hard way. That piece was never meant to be done with a pick. Paul is sick.

And he still cared for us, he didn't want our brains to explode, how good is him.
