    Cdiff is not a hilarious disease. I have seen people die from this before the came up with this cure. It is much better than doing months and months of unsuccessful antibiotics. Yeah, medicine is kinda gross, it has always been that way though.

    C. diff is short for "Clostridium difficile" which is a type of bacteria that overgrows in the colon when a lot of antibiotics is used leading to severe diarrhea and vomiting.

    It's treated by a number of other antibiotics (like Metronidazole & Vancomycin) but if antibiotics fail the last option is "Fecal Transplant" :)
