German Shepherd's First Day on the Bite Pillow

KT has been doing very well her first full week of bite training with her "rabbit" (an old sheepskin rag). We've been doing 2-3 short sessions per day and she's getting a full bite on the first strike well above 75% of the time. So we've graduated to a jute bite pillow that is much thicker, forcing her to open her mouth wider and increase her bite pressure to keep from being swung off. I was afraid she had developed some "equipment bias" for the rabbit and would not take to the jute right away. I was wrong. Within about three minutes she on the pillow like she was on the "rabbit."
