Get a Monolith, and for chaos get more basic chaos marine followers with bolters and a meltagun\flamethrower (only go for two of what kind of gun you want)

Well dude =) not gonna tell you what to do but i vote for Orks since they have sutch big variaty. I recently started to play orks myself and they are hillarious both to paint and to play on table top. They are realy compedative aswell. not just talking about nob bikers, there infantry is fun to play. Read there codex you will love it if you havent read it allready.

Considering the armies you have. You need something that is different. Look at Tyranids and Orks. If you like close combat both armies are good. Bugs can actually out shoot the orks. Orks are just wacky and fun. One has a newer codex, orks and the other will be getting a codex in the near future, bugs.

oh and a tip shooty armys are trickeyer to play in my opinion becuase when the other team locks you in cc your done. but the are very fun to use.

depends if you want a shooty army (tau/guard) or a cc army (ork, nids,daemons) or in the middle(marines, eldar)
