  • @1silviotavares

    i think it´s Rene Arnoux

  • Can someone tell what year, and who is the driver? Thank u :)

  • Turbo technology removed for safety reasons.

Last season of the turbo era, 1.5l engines did over 1500hp.

  • @goerge4

the right kink @ 0:07, into the fast left-right ~0:09-0:11 was used until the mid 90's when it was removed due to safety concerns with lack of run off. It is now a parking area for the casino.

  • @goerge4

From 0:30-1:25 the track is basically the same, just grown up a lot tree wise. The run up to the hairpin was shortened in the early 2000's. The corners from ~0:16-0:19 were tightened up a bit and is now pit in/final chicane/ wall of champions, The next section was straightened out for S/F, and the left-right chicane @0:24 was no longer part of the track, replaced with the kink right after S/F now. These changes were made in 1987 when there was no race....

  • Steel brakes!..... the balls these guys had back then

  • thing just flies

  • @MaxD79 That's what I call an intelligent remark...

  • The track layout is pretty much identical today. The main difference is the pits and start grid used to be near the hairpin, now they are just after the wall of champions. I love the old grandstands near the hairpin!

  • i really can't recognize the old montreal track compared to today's..the one today, i could ride around with my eyes closed.. almost

it changed a lot..i'm looking for something that shows the layout how it was in the 70's
