Hi Friends !!
This is me LIVE singing on the backing track of the song "Zaragon" by John Miles with lyrics by Bob Marshall, originally included in the album of the same name of 1978.

I've always been fascinated with this song since I listened it for the very first time. It talks about a visit of an alien called Zaragon -looking like a boy- who explores the earth and the humans. He doesn't go away too much happy with what he has discovered...
This story always remembered me the Little Prince one.

This is the ending song of the third album by John Miles. Only this song is about mr Zaragon, so it isn't a concept, but with all the great characters and the feelings that are inside the tunes, it is probably my favourite JM album.

Unfortunately Alan Parsons is engineer in albums 1 and 4, and this is the 3rd ^_^

I tried a little more complex video this time, with acting and lighting.
I wanted to represent the beautiful story of the song as well as I could.

I hope you'll like it.

Neither the singing part is very easy, but this song is too beautiful ... I HAD to do it.

ENJOY ! ^_^

  • Zaragon!! All the complete album is wonderful. I'm agree with all the people thinking is the best John Miles' album. It's very difficult find some about that album in Youtube, and there are a few people who knows about it. I would like Mr Miles includes this song on his wonderfuls "Nights of the Proms"; colud be an amazing song winth a great orchestra and a lot of people on chorus ....

  • @1961JMPG Nice to meet you ;-)

Yes, hard to find people who appreciate this ... gosh, last comment on this video of mine was '1 year ago' ^_^

Did you like my vocal and visual performance? I'm not John, of course, but I like to challange his style at times. I sang "Remember Yesterday" also, plus a couple of his songs in The Alan Parsons Project ... "The Cask Of Amontillado" and "Shadow Of A Lonely Man". I discovered of him via my passion for A.P.P.

  • Hi! I´m an Argentinian John Miles fan (sounds weird, doesn´t it?) I´m happy to see (hear) your enthusiasm!

    Long live Miles!!

    Alejandro.

  • @thevisitorsthealbum Hi ! Thanks and welcome ! ;-) Why should be strange for John Miles to have Argentinian fans? I'm Italian !! ^_^ John is great, I discovered of it becoming a fan of The Alan Parsons Project. I wanna record "Music" one day. Stay tuned ! ;-) Alec
