Love Bev, and ELO. This however, is a typical hit them fast and often drum solo. I had buddies doing stuff like this in high school.

HE'S STILL GOT IT ! ! ! ! ! !

No leselo, I'm not a drummer but I am a musician and do know a good drummer when I hear one. I was agreeing with the comment that Bev should retire gracefully and still say that Gordon gets a tremendous sound out of such a small kit. No offence either leselo as I've been a huge fan of The Move/ELO since 1967 and have met Bev when delivering Zildjian cymbals to him and he's a nice guy. No way do I want to get dragged into the usual You Tube slagging matches. Hope you understand.

Bev Bevan played Shaftesbury drums in the 70's (The Move/ELO endorsed Shaftesbury intsruments with Jeff Lynne playing a Shaftesbury "Telecaster" and Roy Wood playing a Shaftesbury "Les Paul").
Shaftesbury's advertising literature boasted "The Move were amazed!!!"

correct! not like the 10538/doya video where he could knock out Moonie!
-
you must be kidding,Gordon can't even tune his LOL,believe me his floor tom even still had ripples in the head,I've seen it!
he added an extra floor tom for the ELO stuff and dosn't know what its for,Kelly had to guide him in for god sake.
oh i could go on,sorry johnto no offence but you have no idea unless you are a drummer, are you,I don't think so.
-
give him two more drums and 3 more cymbals! ha!
he makes me want to be a drummer and i'm a girl.
hi bev!

It's amazing how hi's work with ELO has influenced me so much over the years. Plus' he had a cool ass name "Bev" LOL "That's a very unique name in itself.

Bev Bevan is here about 62 years and
bangs drums like year 20 year old kid !

Give the guy some respect....it's Bev Bevan! He is not a "spring chicken" anymore like back in the day.I never was a Move fan-but i am a drummer who respects his work up to '79 when ELO peaked.
What a drummer and great to see this clip! I just need to see him play live again!!
