@htm2x yep, you're right. But it's weird that he's usually stronger in Bo5 (best of 5, for example in Wimbledon) than Bo3, so it requires a lot of mental strength as well as physical strength to compete in situation where you have already played 4 sets. So I don't really know what's the problem. But whatever is the case, he won Sydney's ATP so maybe it's new beginning for him. We shall see =)

Nieminen's record in finals: 1-10. And the win was not from this one as you sure know. It's funny how sometimes Jarkko plays top-10 tennis for several games in a match and sometimes he plays like an amateur. He has the tools to be a top-20 player but I'm afraid his mental side is not that strong.

Good to see veterans of the game slugging it out in such a match. A great effort from the Shark nonetheless.

Nieminen is the best finnish tennis player ever. In my opinion next to Rafael Nadal and Jürgen Melzer he is the best left handed player on ATP Tour.
I hope he will have a good season if he is in shape he is able to beat every other player because of his great serve and powerful ground strokes. Best wsihes to Jarkko from Germany

@dassmanen44 Actually, Nieminen is the only pro player in Finland. We have many promising amateurs as well, but at the moment Nieminen is the only pro player.
