Tech Tips 6b Quick: How to setup the HAVA Platinum/Titanium

Since college has just started, I don't have much time to make a video as high production value as I normally do, so here is my single-shot non-editted video on how to setup the HAVA Wireless unit. Hopefully, despite the worse production values, it still gets the point across and what you need.

I also had to try and do both this and the other setup video in less than an hour, so...

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video and understand how to set them up, and what you need to set them up.

What you need:

(5*) Single Phono Couplers

* Note: You just need enough phono coupler slots to equal 5; thus, you can use a triple and 2 singles like I did here... or you can get a triple and a double.

(1) Console RCA Component Cable

* (1) Ethernet Cable
* Only if you have a HAVA Platinum or HAVA titanium without the wireless USB dongle. See below (*) for more information.

(*) To set the HAVA platinum up, you need to use an ethernet cable to hook up into a router or a crossover cable to hook into a computer using this ethernet port. This allows the platinum to send the video signal to your computer to record.

The titanium /w USB dongle and wireless have wireless capabilities to connect with your wireless router (assuming you have one).

Note: The titanium can be purchased with and without the wireless USB dongle -- make sure you get the appropriate model.

The wireless always has wireless capabilities.

is the hava hd better than dazzle? and does it matter if i connect it to an old laptop because computer is far away????

@hamptonpanthers The HAVA is designed to be used if the computer is in another room. The quality is better than a Dazzle.

@jukkis6699 This is for xbox, hava, tv. While this is kind of a lie, you need a second monitor for the hava that your PC isn't hooked up to.
