I did the Dolphin Harbor Dolphin Odyssey Program at Miami Seaquarium on June 5th, 2009. The Dolphin Odyssey program is typically a swim-with-dolphins program that the Seaquarium offers. The swim program used to be held at the Flipper Lagoon Stadium, the site of where the "Flipper" TV series was filmed in the 1960's. The dolphin interaction programs were held there until 2007 when the Dolphin Harbor exhibit first opened. All the dolphins who reside at the area were born at the park.

ABOUT SWIM WITH DOLPHIN PROGRAMS: Dolphin swim programs offer people to get up close with dolphins in a manner they may never be able to experience out in the wild. The guests pay a fee a head of time and arrive on the day of the encounter. As the program goes, it always starts up with an introduction on the natural history, care, and training of dolphins. That session lasts for 30 minutes. Then, the encounter begins. The program may vary by park, or the animals.
