1996 Mustang GT at Bandimere

1996 Mustang GT NPI motor with a 100 shot. Spun the slicks. Best of the night was a 13.582@97.59. It was cutting out up top pretty bad for the last 300 foot...

This pass was a 14.430@93.88. Turns out i was out of spray about the 1/8 mile mark. The 2nd to 3rd shift back fires from the extra fuel in the car.

So it took 100 shot, slicks, runners, and I'm sure a couple of supporting mods for the N2O kit, and all you could muster was a 13.52 @ 97mph?? Sorry man, but that's terrible. I have a 96 GT that has ran a best of 13.44 @ 99mph with basic bolt-ons and drag radials with runners. I am getting a N2O kit soon, and I should be knocking on 11's... Anyways sounds like the car is extremely heavy or you need more practice.

@95badbird Or I live at a mile high.... I got the car to go 12.91@105 on a 100 shot and a NPI motor at this altitude....

Now the car easily runs mid 10s at this altitude and converts down to nearly 9.70s in good air... Pretty decent for a street car...

really dont think a 100 shot will get you to the 13s.  anyway you dont want too, you have a vert anyway, so you dont want to do 14.00

Mustang matt... If your still having problems getting off the line with those Mickey Thompsons, do a shorter burnout, as soon as you see smoke pull out :)

Its the elevation.. look at my favorite videos the bandimere one with the ZR1 vette watch it... The ZR-1 supposed to go 11.4 ran 13.20.. A viper goes like 13.5 Challenger R/T's only run mid to high 15's @bigcbr
