The first Part of The Southwestern Adventist University's Drama production of Tartuffe, by Moliere.

Easily the best Performance done yet at SWAU. And I don't just say that because I'm in it (I'm Tartuffe).

This Particular Performance took place on the Saturday Night, April 19, 2008. It was the second performance of four, and the second best (The last was spectacular. If I can get a copy of it, it may go up as well)

The sound isn't all it could be, and watch out for the occasional cough or baby's cry. What I wouldn't give to have had a choir mic hanging above us. Ah well. Enjoy!

  • I've seen highschool students act better :-/

  • You have either found the rarest of the rare highschoolers, or you have a very interesting definition of the word "acting."

  • because that's how it was written :P

  • I absolutely agree with you - we did this as a group of 17 year olds...there's no life to this one.

  • it's weird to hear it in english

  • no my high school acting class do better improv skits than this. secondly Tartuffe is a wonderful play. it's saddening to see it butchered so.

yes yes and of Tartuffe....... Poor man.

  • I started watching this and then read the description and just won't bother to watch anything put out by a "southwestern Adventist" university. Sorry, but surely there's another version of this play out there.

  • hey i just watched the whole thing and it was awesome.. made reading for my lit class a breeze.. good work guys.. keep it up!

  • @TheRealDruidan Hey, even Lawrence Olivier was in high school once... I agree with notaconspiracy. This is appalling. I suspect this performance suffered worst from the casting.

  • SING OUT LOUISE!

  • The old lady could of atleast had an old sounding voice! Isn't this a comedy?!?!?!

  • the costumes are good atleast.

  • @Travomatic when we perform it ill try to record it nd put it up

  • @boycrazyy71 Put up a vid of urs for us to see.
