This is a close encounter with Junior the Jaguar at the Belize Zoo in 2010.
Junior is a captive-born and raised jaguar. His mother was a wild jaguar that was caught after killing livestock in Belize. Instead of killing his mother, the locals captured her and she was taken to the Belize Zoo in order to help educate the public about jaguars. Shortly after she was taken in at the zoo, Junior was born. Even though junior seems docile, Junior is still a wild animal. He is trained to do basic "tricks" but he is not tame. He is used to educate the visitors at the zoo about wild jaguars and how they can coexist with them.
Same thing with us. I just didn't film it.
