Smoger is the best referee around and most pundits, whether it's HBO or ESPN or wherever would agree. Just watch Joe 'Bullshit Decision' Cortez to see a bad ref. If I was fighting I'd want to see Smoger in that ring as well.

Steve Smoger is probably the best referee in the sport. He really lets the fighters go at it and won't call the fight too early. Look at Ward v. Augustus.
