Bad boys 2 was only produce by jerry bruckheimer. So why is don simpson is credited for producing bad boys 2 and why did they use the don simpson/jerry bruckheimer films logo for the film. I don't get it becuase don simpson died of a heart attack in 1996. Even with enemy of the state don simpson was credited as a producer with jerry bruckheimer. But that is impossible because enemy of the state was released in theatres in 1998. but don simpson had died in 1996 from a cardiac arrest.

@sureren Simpsoo is credited because
he helped develope the original film and
characters and the overall concept. His
contribution filtered over to this one in a big
way. This was probably right for Enemy of the
State as well.

They do it because the public is already familiar with certain pieces of music. The same reason they put pop songs in movies.
I love it. I have no problem with it. Actually, I've seen rough cuts of movies that have yet to be scored by the composers and usually they cut the footage to pre-existing music. I remember seeing the pilot episode of Smallville before it was finalized and they had used the score to "The Sixth Day."
