one sail vawt

In this video the flaps have 90 degrees rotation freedom and an airfoil shape. These allows flaps act like car spoilers which gives extra push to sail toward the wind which increases the efficiency of the turbine. Notice that even with one sail it moves toward the ventilator which acts as wind source.

This is a very clever concept. So simple and easily constructable. I'm guessing you can't patent this? Becuase it must have been done a million times before. Your video perfectly demonstrates that energy is taken from the wind on both sides of the turbine. I would like to make a version of this, do you mind if I work on you designs?

@danphobic The idea is not patent-able because it is a known idea. As far as I am concerned this is the best VAWT. You can work on the design and please share your findings with me.
