Ever since the 2nd grade, my dad has been showing me Eric Johnson songs. I regret nothing. One of the most underrated, most amazing guitarists to ever walk this planet.

@TheRahatluk That's actually how I started: from Guitar Hero. Then I thought, "why the hell haven't I listed to any of his other music?" So I did, and WOW!!! I that Carlos Santana was the only one that could play the guitar beautifully, until I heard EJ. Man!

I'm certain that Eric Johnson has goals that he would still like to accomplish. Our opinion probably doesn't matter to him. He is a Master - possibly only the Masters know what they themselves need to be working on at the moment.

@acaash I was just thinking the same thing, he is truly a master of guitar and the thing that sums it up is that you couldn't mistake him with anyone else

Its funny how the one song he got on guitar hero has millions of views. But in actuality, the people that listen to all of his fantastic are still few. Hopefully he gets the recognition he deserves before he dies.

Recognition? He won a Grammy for Ah Via Musicom the same year Danny Gatton's 88 Elmira Street album was nominated. That's some serious recognition, IMO.
