For example, Marxists also recoil a tthe documented anti-Semitism of Karl Marx - even as they practice a similar brand of anti-Semitism with their use of the word "Zionist". The Bolsheviks, especially in regards to the Ukrainians, were every bit as racially prejudiced as the Nazis were. The war between Vietnamese and Cambodian Marxists was steeped in racism. In fact, every major Leftist regime has had a system of racial prejudice operating at its core.

@DrCruel So very true. I think its the racism, thing that has the left reviling in horror at the mere mention that nazis/fascists and socialists are all brothers. Take racism out of the fascist equation and who can tell the difference? Fact is whether or not one believes in racism or multiculutralism is irrelevant. Any system of government where the state is dominant in the economy amongst other areas is essentially socialist.

Overall, I think this is documentary does a good job at explaining the circumstances behind the rise of Nazism. I give this a thumbs up.

@MrReco12 Please recheck the facts. The Bolshevik slaughter of the Ukranians and the Cambodian slaughter of indigenous Vietnamese peoples was very much based on race. For their own part, the Vietnamese may have killed about half a million Cambodian civilians when they invaded the country to "rescue" it, as well as virtually exterminated the Hmong at home. Nor are these the only cases of Leftist-run ethnic genocides.

The Left has always been made up of liars and killers. Nothing has changed.

The Nazi's referred to Martin Luther as their inspiration when it came to Jews, they also admire the pogroms of Tsarist Russia!
