Which horse will win the Derby?
The Kentucky race horse song MOLLY AND TENBROOKS was composed by Mr.Bill Monroe , the father of Bluegrass music and has been played by many artists ever since. Undoubtedly you will appreciate the version as performed here by Johan A.Engels on his five string banjo !

  • Great primitive style of banjo playing; not unlike Ralph Stanley before he started using three fingers.

Bill Monroe didn`t, however, compose the song. It pre-dated him by many years.

    Good job!
