@DokmoBros um, I didn't say anything about LFR. I said heroic mode. That is still legitimately difficult. Complaining about LFR is like complaining that Baskin Robbins has an ice cream flavor you don't like when there are others to choose from. If you hate LFR so much than don't use it.

i wish i could've been around in vanilla to do this raid...i started playing back in wrath and...im just so jealous of those people that got to experience what this place was like back when it was hard and people couldnt just solo this place....wow is just getting too easy...if its this easy in cataclysm...im almost scared to think about how easy it will be when MoP comes out....

@cerulee You are kidding, right? The Looking for Raid feature makes all the raids require almost no tacts at all, gives them the feel of a normal dungeon with slightly better gear. They have ruined a great game over time, someone may not feel it, but it is a shadow of it's former self as it is now. Cataclysm was the finishing blow to finish it off.

The terrifying grandeur of this music. It gives me chills, and certainly a flashback or two to the damp, pulsing walls of the hive of Evil itself.
If Ahn'Qiraj wasn't difficult enough as is, you always had that feeling that the raid itself was closing in around you...

To the people who complain about Cata being "too easy": do heroic mode and quityerbitchin. I'm glad I finally get to finish content without raiding 24/7 for once.

@BlueCrystalGem Hope you cleared pre-nerf Sunwell, then. And all the hardmodes in WotLK and Cata pre-nerf. All the difficulty is still there. It's just not a massive barrier to newbies entering the content. It's in hard modes for experienced players to go after on their own.

@kimflodin It is still one of the most popular games out there, but it has lost TONS of subscribtions. I think it was 12 million at their peak (WOTLK) and they have lost about 2 million players after cata came out. Correct me if I am wrong.

Easy mode is fine, but when you take the feeling of accomplishment out of a game. The game is just a boring grind fest. When everyone and their mother has "epic gear", the gear is no longer "epic".
People never complained about hard high tier instances, what vanilla lacked was 5 man dungeons and PvP content. But instead of just fixing that, blizzard made the entire game baby's milk bottle - easy feeding.
