A video I made kind of out of frustration with all the downloading of music, movies, and all kinds of stuff...

BUY cds, BUY movies... don't download... it's... PRACTICALLY stealing. That can be debated, but the bottom like is - don't be a DICK. Support the artists.

The vinyls I showed you are (in no particular order lols):

LCK ft One Odd - Penguins
Scot Project - F2
Dr Willis vs Vandall - Tech Ho
Dark By Design & Dangerous - Heavy Petting / Dark By Design & Symtal - F.E.A.R.
Dark By Design & Steely - Rumble In The Club / Seesaw

i think that's all of them. I'll be using these, which are very new, and some other older tunes in a mix for you guys in the next week or so.

  • I have exactly the same thoughts about sharing mp3. People ask me to send me mp3 all the time. I never will do that eather. If they like they should buy point !

NIce to see other videos of you hehe

Watching your older videos are nice , but boring after 100 times lol

  • hehe well thanx for watching more than 30 times anyway :D

  • all this especially applies if you're actually going to be MAKING MONEY with the music you own.

For example, assume you get paid $100 per hour as a dj. Now, you play perhaps 15 song per hour. Say then you play any particular song at 10 different gigs before you stop playing that song ever again. If each set was 1 hour long, you would make $1000 by that point.

  • NOW, if you paid for vinyl, that's 15x18= $270. You just made $730 profit. IF on the other hand, like most DJs nowdays, you play MP3 files, and you bought those songs for $2 each, you would have only paid $30 for the music, which leaves you with $970 profit. Is that REALLY too pricey? Even if you only played brand new songs each gig, that's $30 out of $100... but let's face it - you'll buy no more than 5 new songs a week on average.

  • screw worrying about making money from music...music should be free......artists should get a real job and just enjoy making music to please people....

  • Czy pan jest Polakium?

Ive been buying records since i was about 12-13 saved up my money as a 13 year old bought brand new 1200mk2s. Spent soo much money over the year on vinyls and it was worth it hands down.

  • btw: your a great dj

  • i buy cds dude i only download porn videos xD

  • Order online and have them deliver for you =o)

  • Thanks for supporting your scene, BigMilan. It's fact that each song I release costs me more than I could ever make back from it. As such, I'm working a full time job, which leaves little time for producing. Vicious circle at the moment, I'm afraid. There will always be people who just download songs - I can deal with that... it's the DJs who are being paid to play pirate music in clubs that gets me! I know now that producing is never going to make me a "living", ever...

  • dude, just try to create a law that says dont download music. Why would you buy music if you can download? Thats not a good thing to think, but thats what people do.

  • I wish I could!!! There are probably no record stores within a 100 mile radius of here. I wish i had the opportunity to buy vinyls. If ppl had more access to record stores or at least a wide variety of music in stores (not just pop, rap, rock, etc.) pirating would not be such a problem i think

  • support ur artist dont steal ya bitches!.

so they can buy better equipment to produce better sounds to keep audience entertained........im following BigMilan...ur always right *thumbs up*

  • I agree with your views on supporting your artists and music however, take this into consideration; downloading (free) = more people listen to the producer because it's free, yes?

So it's fair to say that this generates a greater interest in a specific producer. The producer then makes more money from their live performances because more people will pay to see them.

Live shows are the biggest income for them.
