  • Very good engine.

I hope that comes out of the CAD drawing and passes to the reality of running engine to be used in small aircraft.

How many HP an engine that would produce?

Thanks and success with this project.

  • @JorgeFloripa Thank you for your comments. Machinery of different size. Output power is also different output power in a 500-mW-10 kW.

  • I think this engine is amazing. Excellent work! How did you arrive at the shape of the housing and "piston" so that they match throughout the whole range of motion? Was this determined numerically, or is it an exact closed-form curve? If it was determined numerically, how close is the approximation? Either way, the strange motion is a real mind-bender, and hats off to you for the creative genius it took to even imagine this engine!!! Inspired genius, it is.

  • This is a beautifully elegant design. I hope it is a successful project.

Just a question, what would be the ideal operating speed (RPM) for this kind of motor?

    Regards,

    Ben

  • ur a genius really............

but how is the valve train supposed to work?

  • 10 kw = 13 hp

100 Kw=130 hp engine for use em small airplane.
