BBC News - 17 Egyptian pyramids found by infra-red satellite images. juin 2011
Seventeen lost pyramids are among the buildings identified in a new satellite survey of Egypt.More than 1,000 tombs and 3,000 ancient settlements were also revealed by looking at infra-red images which show up underground buildings.
Initial excavations have already confirmed some of the findings, including two suspected pyramids.
The research led by Dr Sarah Parcak from the University of Alabama at Birmingham features in a BBC documentary, Egypt's Lost Cities on BBC One on Monday 30 May at 2030 BST. It will also be shown on the Discovery channel in the US.

They have known of these pyramids and tunnels forever! DUAT the path of the pharoh's. The journey through the "Lower World". Search for these and don't stop at the first GOOGLE link. What we have accepted as truth is the lie and what is the truth is generally black balled until it seems ridiculous by our human mind. THEY let US know about this now, when they have known since the structures were built! Why is the US Gov. there?? Apply some crititical thinking and you will suprise yourself

Should one ever visit the gigantic stone walls at Sachsayhuaman in the hills outside Cuzco or in Machu Pichu up in the Andes, one of the first things you will note besides the fact that the stones fit so perfectly together that rain water can't even seep through the interfaces is that the joints are also exactly similar to those found in the walls outside the Egyptian Sphynx. It also appears that the exact same geometric proportions prevail in the pyramids found in Central A as in Egypt.

@NiteStarGirl Go inside and check out the tiles on the floors-----the Egyptians invented what is considered to be the oldest branch of mathematics known to mankind: Group Theory...and this is demonstrated in those tiles. When I was there I heard conflicting reports on the weight of stones used in the construction of the Pyramids but I touched some with my hands that must have weighed in at over a hundred tons like the ones I saw in the Andes.

It is so cool they found more pyramids using satellites. I cant wait until they can see whats inside the pyramids. What ticks me off most about this video is the satellite images from Mars that show pyramids they say are not real. But the same shots here they claim are real. People of science need to get over themselves so we can move forward. Todays science holds us back with there small minds. :)

@EnigmaUniverse Me to.I cant wait. Imagine what is waiting to be revealed and discovered. All over the world we will finally get some answers about the ancient mysteries. I wonder what kind of software Mrs Parker uses watching the satellite pictures in infra red... Thanks.Try to watch the docu on BBC. "Egypt's lost cities" . In a while they will show it on Discovery US. Me as soon as i can get it on the net i will post it ;)
