I had a couple of request as to what setting i was using, it's really simple.
I just used b.54 and then put distortion on (which you do by setting the top edit select knob to amp and then set distortion to ON by twisting the EG attack knob).
Thanks

..A lot of people are asking me questions about connecting the microkorg to the PC, in this video I'm simply using a jack cable to use the pc speakers, I don't have my microkorg connected to it via midi/usb.

Also, In regards to questions about the song, I unfortunately didn't ever save the fruityloops beat, It wasn't that hard to make though..

  • I've got a MicroKorg and I've hooked it up with a MIDI to USB cable on Logic Pro 8, and I can't get it to produce sound through. It'll work as a controller (for the software instruments) but none of the sounds I've made on the keyboard come through...

    Can anyone help me?

  • The midi connection wont transfer any sound, you need to plug an audio cable from the microkorg into your computer to record any sound coming out of it.

Otherwise it'll only work as a controller

  • whats that one sound called that plays in the percussion track at .13? it sounds like a reversed trumpet or something. just wondering, it sounds so cool and retro.

  • I'm afraid that I don't have fruityloops any more, but I think it was in an 'hits' or 'orchestral hits' folder or something like that, I didn't sample it...it came with the program.

    Hope that helps.

  • how do you stop having fruity loops? demo?

  • haha, formatted my pc, swapped to ableton
