This video clip is excellent for students who have little or no idea what a conductor does except keep the orchestra playing in unison. Succinctly and cleverly, the video demonstrates how a conductor works his magic. Rarely does the public attend a "working" rehearsal. To watch Gergiev or his mentor, Yuri Temirkanov, both students of the great teacher Ilya Musin, is a real treat! Upload any and all clips you have!! Thank you!!!
