first game in EGm to recieve all 10s so how can it suck.Also this game was an arcade conversion but basically exactly the same as the arcade.

Great game!!! I just downloaded it on the Wii's VC. Only 600 Wii points($6)and well worth it. But i have to disagree with you kamino. Ninja gaiden is a great game series. Besides its hard to compare an 8 bit ninja game to a 16 bit ninja game. Now if you want to be fair compare it to shinobi!!!Either way all of them rock in their own ways.

This is one of my favorite TG-16 games. I demanded it and Aeroblasters for X-Mas/Birthday after renting them both around the same time.
It turned out to be one of the best X-Mas's ever.
Ninja Gaiden is way more CHEAP than Ninja Spirit(other than NS's final stage). Also, NG's collision is way off and not nearly as tight as NS.
But its not like there can only ever be one good ninja game anyway.

BTW there is no US/Japanese mode. "PC Engine mode" means you have a life bar. The other is arcade mode which is tougher because of one hit deaths.
