This is a video of the King Rd. Crossing in Trenton, MI. It has Safetran 12"x24" Ball LED's, and Safetran 12"x20" incandescent lights. A GS type 2 e-bell is also featured.

  • I might have seen that unit before because that horn sounds awfully familiar. That's a nice one too! Do you know the engine number?

  • When I get home, I can check the number on the engine and let you know. I have the better quality video there.

  • NOT.

  • best train horn

  • That spur was used to bring hot metal in from McLouth Steel to Vulcan, and also served Sibley Quarry.

  • they just removed the last of them, i saw it about a couple days ago

  • Yep, correct. CN operated over it. They have since removed the lights on the mast, and bells. The cantilever lights are all that are left here.

  • I think that used to lead to an inner plant track for the now demolished Vulcan Mold, a steelworks that poured ingots. It was probably operated by CN or Conrail.

  • That train has a fast accelaration (sorry for spelling)

  • Farther down there is an abandoned crossing at 0:07, what line did that used to be?
