The mark III is the only car i can get excited about especially in red. I was wondering how much time money and effort you have to go to replace things like tyres and windows etc?

2-door, eh? I don't think we ever got the 2-door Mk3 in Oz; all we got were Cortina 6's with thumping great Falcon engines.

Nice Vid, Can't remember the last time I saw a GT never mind a 2dr, Always looked neater than the over chromed GXL. I remember my dad buying a 2000 XL then spending the next 4 yrs wishing he'd bought a GT for a few quid more !!

Exellent x-sample of the old MK3 , I had a 73 model same colour , many yrs ago,
I noticed its not Aberdeen reg .! you didnt buy it of a dude called "RAB" by any chance.? Again he had one identical to this one in Aberdeen.!
and as for thieves, You bet your "Boots" Aberdeen has plenty of them.."Great motta" I think it was the best style of Cortina,Certainly have a Nostalic Yankie look about them..! I had a few Mk 3 s over the 70s years, Last one was a 74 G.X.L, Purple in color W/ V-Black Roof
