More a permanent cultural and amusement park than a modern day theme park. (I suppose it IS a theme park but not as people in the west would expect one to be).
Good family entertainmment, the place was packed out - cheap and cheerful although a revamp is long overdue i.e. the rollercoaster ride looks very tame compared with current offerings elsewhere in the world, but then no doubt it would cost more. They also have a novel way of crowd control to stop long queues building for the ride too. They simply stop selling the tickets from the remote ticket office! Maybe something Disney and the like should take on board! Doesn't of course get you on the ride - I gave up waiting after a couple of minutes and never did get to ride it.
There are a large number of live crocodiles here. Pay 2000VND and you too can feed the crocs meat suspended from your pole - just don't fall in.
This parade, as far as I could make out, is to celebrate the ethnic mix of Vietnam. This being the tail end of it. Colourful and in so very Vietnamese style.
