I love this and all songs that remind of when I was stationed in Germany from early April 1982 to late May of 1984, brings back old memories, unless you were ever stationed there you could,nt understnad

@djkerton I dunno about that... to me good music transcends. Style isn't the main thing. If it's The Smiths or Salt N' Pepa, pretty much every type of music bloomed in the 80s. Rush included. Just discovered a band called Icehouse who are really good too!

@LDP060681 Interesting. Good recommendations, all, but OMD is nothing like the rest of the ones you mention. They are very synth. They fit the sound of the 80s beautifully, but do not transcend the decades as much as Rush and the others you mentioned.

I HATE being affiliated with some people in my generation...
Couldnt listen to this song in class cause it was deemed too differant than the mainstream, so I turned it up to full blast and said 'haters gonna hate'
