I hope you realize that Germany was a single nation which took on the world, and damn near won too. England were a bunch of pussies and called upon the Canadians for help, then the US used Pearl Harbor as an excuse to join in...two years after it started...Just like in the first world war! So, basicly, the only Allies who I find deserve the least bit of respect and dignity are the Canadians. They came to help their friend..England would've burnt in hell if it weren't for the Canadians.

I think citizens of Germany was very surprised when T34 rushed through Germany. Germans wanted to be rulers of the world but something went wrong LOL.

Yes America is an important country and will be remembered as being one of the greatest civilisations in world history, but you people have got to stop deluding yourselves of your own grandeur. I've seen Americans claim that the United States was the most decisive influence of the Napoleonic Wars because of the Louisiana Purchase. There is something very much wrong with a society if it's citizens constantly feel the need to constantly distort history via their own chauvinistic obsessions.

Second, although clearly the Americans were the deciding force in the pacific war, they didn't even come remotely close to inflicting on Germany the sort of damage as dealt to them by the Soviets. Please understand that all of the other theatres of WW2 were a fucking sideshow to the Eastern Front. 80% of all German casualties occurred on the Eastern Front as did over 50% of all deaths in WW2, the remainder largely occurred in China. WW2 was basically Germany vs Russia + supporting acts, cont.

Some important points need to be laid out for those Forrest Gump Americans who evidently get their historical perspectives from pop out books. Firstly no Britain was not "saved" by external intervention, the overwhelming historical consensus is that the planned invasion of Britain (Operation Seelowe) would have been doomed to failure in the face of Britain's overwhelming naval superiority and the defeat of the Luftwaffe in the Battle of Britain (which Germany could never have won either) cont.
