The Natural Resource Enterprises program was founded at Mississippi State University by the Forest and Wildlife Research Center, Cooperative Extension Service, and the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station. The Natural Resource Enterprises program helps landowners develop recreational businesses using sound business and wildlife habitat management strategies. The NRE team traveled to Indiana to hold two landowner workshops in conjunction with Purdue University and Indiana Farm Bureau. Watch this short program to learn about the workshop and get to know two landowners in the Indiana area who have diversified their farm income by incorporating recreational enterprises into traditional land use.
