Please enjoy Teresa's performance of "望郷 (Bou-Kyou)", meaning "Nostalgia", originally sung by 森進一 (Mori Shin-ichi). 猪俣公章 (Inomata Koushou) composed the song, 橋本淳 (Hashimoto Atsushi) wrote the lyrics.
The following are the Japanese lyrics, with my English translation.
Onna gokoro no furusato wa
(The home of a woman's mind is)
Wasureta hazuno otoko no mune yo
(the breast (heart) of a man whom I should have already forgotten)
Tsume wo kamu nowa dare no tame
(For whom was I biting my fingernails?)
Shinobi naku nowa dare no tame
(For whom was I shedding silent tears?)
Towani aishite hanasazu ni
(Being in love with you forever,)
Anata ni aitai
(I wish to see you)
Tooi tooi hito dakedo
(although you are at a very far and far distance)
Yogisha ni yurare ikujikan
(Rocked for many hours in the night-train)
Anata mitakute kaette yuku no
(I am now returning home wishing to see you)
Amaetai noyo itsuno hi mo
(I desire to be spoiled by you any day)
Mitete hoshiino itsudatte
(I wish you to keep watching me anytime)
Naite wakareta kitaguni no
(I am now returning home to see you)
Hanare banare no
(at a very long and long distance)
Tooi tooi hito no tame
(after a long separation from each other)
Shiawase usui watashi nimo
(Even for the unlucky woman like me)
Itsuka kurunone onna no haru ga
(spring must come soon)
Jitto koraete taeru nomo
(I have endured hardship so far)
Anata ga iruto sugaru nomo
(I have clung on to my life believing in you)
Watashi hitori wo matte iru
(because you are waiting for only me)
Namida no furusato
(and because I always dreamed)
Yume ni yume ni ukabu kara
(my hometown in tears)

HI masani..., nelacost said....he by chance found Aijin the first time and fell in love with the singer Teresa Teng, He said all her songs are beautiful and doesn't know why her song is not playing in his country, he is sad to know TT already died. He have seen many video and listening her song and every time he become more in love to her. He can not accept that such a great singer was dead. He love her heartly and now he only listen her songs and try to find everything related to her.
