CP e/b rock train #966-07 rolls down the heavy grade into the Lakehead on Labour Day 2009. Unfortunately the lead unit, CP 6037, kept dying on the train crew so it was a struggle to get this train over the road and into Thunder Bay. Still, with 2 out of 3 SD40-2's working on this 60-car 'HZGX' train it was enough to do the job. This is just one of many Herzog train sets used by many railroads across the continent that uses GPS technology for precision unloading. Motive power was CP SD40-2's 6037, 5953, 5871. The train was loaded at the Dyment Pit (Ignace Sub) and will be unloaded on the Nipigon Sub east of Thunder Bay.
