im thinking of making a new mob trap and would case molding ice under the water canals make the mobs move faster and thereby increasing its efficiency? got the idea after seeing how fast those melon slices moved.

I think you could fully automate you record farmer by having a snow golem as bait, Doc. Put a Snow Golem on the spot where you stand and the skeleton should aim for it, hitting creepers instead!!
