  • There is sufficient archaeological evidence to conclude that the Chinese used multistage solid fuel rockets in warfare at least by the mid-13th century if not earlier. The Germans were the first to produce operational jet, and rocket powered warplanes. The Americans, Russians, etc. all benefitted greatly from captured German aircraft. Whether either the Americans or Russians would have had meaningful space programs before 1970 without the captured German scientists is also questionable.

  • @trzcinarowice nothing brutal. noone kills jews, for example.

  • @kosiak10851 Nothing. I meant being forced to live under Russian or any other brutal occuipation.

  • @trzcinarowice What's so bad at speaking russian? Russian, chineese, french are beautiful languages!

  • @trzcinarowice Chinese?

  • @jamiegottagunATyahoo They don't have to worry if something goes wrong.

  • The russians steeling watches and technologie.

  • @33vortex As someone once pointed out: a MiG 21 still flew at Mach 2, even with the bad finish and the uneven rivets, and was much cheaper to build, and required much less maintenance to keep in the air than a Phantom II.

    Don't mistake "philosophy" with "capability."

  • The inspector at 0:05 is clearly impressed by the smooth surface. Soviet/Russian industry is notorious for not being able to keep production standards. Perhaps it has improved somewhat in post-soviet Russia.

  • @trzcinarowice How insightful! Thank you very much for your reply.

  • @PotatoGunsRule Hitler would be likable too. Especially after being captured.

  • @the82spartans Technically yes...

  • @TheToddi666 You're lucky you don't have to speak Russian today.

  • @IonicRipper01 Wrong.

  • @137alpha It simply doesn't matter... the U.S. is the premier country ever to exist on the face of the Earth, and we thrive on imported brain power!... so, whatever!

  • V2, messerschimtdt 262, mp44, nobody had anything like it.Hitler FUBAR Germany.

  • @TheToddi666

    huh?

  • the russia and the amerikans are to stupid to build this technologie, they are only dump farmers and only that they can is steel and nothing else. and yes, german UFO`s flying but this thing you never get! haha new schwabenland never die !!die affen wären heute noch in der steinzeit......

  • @xmeda Plus, many attempts were made at mixed-power planes (such as the LA-7R, which was a normal LA-7 except she had a rocket in her tail) None of them worked well though.

  • @Dfwin there are many rocket projects in russia during WW1 and before WW2. + remember all those unguided rockets on IL-2 and Katjusa? :)

But of course, that captured technology helped a lot also.

  • @137alpha My uncle once met Werner von Braun and said he was a "likeable guy."

  • Upload is great and thank you... but technically this is USSR, not Russia..

  • @137alpha Everyone knows Germany has the best scientists in the world.
