‪Craig Ferguson 'Bing Hitler" Stand up ‬Live Exclusive 80s Gig Glasgow

This is a very early ‪Craig Ferguson‬ routine of 'Bing Hitler' Craig is now a television host, stand-up comedian, writer, producer, director and actor. He is also the host of the USA TV show 'The Late Late Show' with Craig Ferguson, and is Emmy Award-nominated. Filmed at an Aids benefit concert at Bennets, a Gay nightclub in Glasgow ‪on the 23rd November 1987‬. The event was set up by ‪Robbie McFadyen‬ with help from Jane and David Henderson and many others. It was shot using only one camera (Paul Herley ) in the natural club lighting with an audio feed from the main mixing desk. We were granted a prime pre arranged up close and personal position. Normally we would have had a clock on all material but as this is taken from the master rushes it did not have one. I know the act became a hit at the 1986 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, so it must be about 1986-87 I would think.

More than anything the old "Bing Hitler" skits remind me of old "Vic Reeves" pre-Mortimer stuff that I've seen bits of here and there form old VHS tapes.
