During the spring semester of 2007 students from the Digital Arts program at Stetson University worked with Professor Nathan Wolek to create a DVD/CD entitled The Invention of the Wheel. The DVD/CD was produced, designed and printed by the students and it includes 4 tracks born during 2006 performances at ISEA and Conflux. Working as a collective, MPG presented mobile and improvised audiovisual performances using sounds & images gathered specifically from each festival location. These improvisations became the basis for the subsequent studio work that produced the CD/DVD project. Each music track is stylistically different, drawing from influences in house, ambient, techno and soundscape. Together with the video they provide a compact introduction to what MPG is about and glimpse into what it is like to see MPG live. This track is entitled MPG4 is was produced by Melanie McConachie and Adam Wright.
