No glues or fasteners are needed with the Anco Garage Door Insulation Kit. This installation video demonstrates the few tools necessary, and shows how the friction fit property of our insulation makes this DIY job quick and easy. This friction fit property comes from the density of our insulation. Not only does the density make this product easy to handle, it contributes to our insulation's superior thermal performance, giving the Anco Garage Door Insulation Kit an R-value of 9!

  • although the produce gives max R value, it does not address heat or cold transfer of the connecting ribs or rails that attach each 16 foot panel for a 2 car garage. The heat transfer from the rails I would think it would negate some of the max R-value of 9 for the fiberglass product. It seems I will need to add more insulation to cover the ribs and joints, any and all comments are welcome

The Anco kit provides additional insulation for the primary part of the door panels. It is to aid in not only Overall Thermal Performance but sound absorption as well. We do not know of any kit on the market that covers the door frame and supporting structure or that would look esthetically pleasing.

  • I've been going nuts looking at all the different options, and this kit, while far from the cheapest option, seems to be the way to go. Far better than the (cheaper) Owens Corning kit.

  • Another great video made by Seeger's media...Anco / APi Garage Kits work great too. Brought mine at Dasma Garage
