I think we need to recognise the difference of slang and Scots, you have a good list of words that are purely Scots that is a language and not slang. Yes wee have varying dialects of Scots from all over the country but then we have great words like glaikit or scunnered that are much better in my opinion than the standard English we are all taught at school.
