Test for a short animation that we're doing. Used Adobe Illustrator CS3 to draw the outlines over a previously recorded clip of the girl that im doing the short with...frame by frame. Brought it all together in Flash CS3 Its 45 frames at 15 fps. This techhnique is reallyyy tiresome...comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated

  • how much time does it approximately take to do one frame?

  • Depends on how complex you want it to look...also i use a graphic tablet so its a bit faster...maybe like 3 minutes or so per frame.

  • Really cool, did you go anywhere with this?

  • NOt yet but haven't discarded the idea yet, it's just that it requieres too much time and effort...

  • With the ToonIt plugin for after effects you can do a complete film in a matter of hours.
