CP 8775 ES44AC and CP 9618 AC4400CW leads a long manifest through Chesterville. 4:44 there is a car with trash dumpsters on it! You don't see CP move garbage on the Winchester Sub!! Usually you see CSX or BNSF have trash stack trains. This shot is in the morning so you can really hear that beautifully tuned K5HL horn echo through town. Enjoy!! Winchester Rail Productions
I think it's one reason. CN is currently authorized to run trains at 18k feet.

@GEES44DC
14000 feet? Damn. Is that the reason why there has been derailments on CN time after time because of those long trains? It also makes you wonder if CN gets ECP brakes then soon we will be hearing about 30000 foot long trains on CN with mid train helpers.

My Aunt told me that there's lots of trains that come thru Chesterville at night

@GEES44DC It is. One possible reason is that most sidings on the single-track Belleville sub are 7000-7500 feet in length.

@GEES44DC CP always seems to run shorter trains than CN... not quite sure why...

@EasternOntarioTracks Is 140 cars really that odd for CP? CN is running trains at just under 14000 feet now.
