No Mercy Royal Rumble Guide to eliminations

People often need help figuring out the Royal Rumble in WWF No Mercy for the Nintendo 64, since there is no one button or position to eliminate with (which is a good thing).

How do you stop someone eliminating you

@90mv You have to avoid these situations. There is no blocking once you are on the apron other than R to dodge, but the computer has perfect timing to eliminate you off the apron. Don't put your back to the ropes, and block strikes.

I guess I made a mistake, you can't get tied in the ropes in a rumble.

i only lose when two or three people are trying to throw me out the ring! or when they do a simple punch and automatically fly out on a fluke! also when i'm striking someone out and another opponent turns around from his fighter and knocks me out with cause i'm close to the ropes! this happened recently when before i would beat survival several times in row.

But it's kinda cool to have that randomness, just like the real Royal Rumble.

lol i was at the center of the ring and saturn did the move your talking about and i still flew out the ring! i laugh now but then i was mad!!!

use perry saturn and hold a+b the whole time lol its a sweep nobody can attack you its easy and gets u some cash

My favorite way is by using a strong striking attack which knocks the opponent over the ropes and out of the ring. It's the funniest.

@melina820 grapple them, and hit RUN.  also be holding the direction you want to throw them, as in the corner or the ropes. Also weak and strong grapple do different whips of course.

That r-block when they're running at you is clever.

I think another key is having a guy who's irish whip attack is short but pushes the opponent back. Thrusting knee attacks is a good one.

its fun knocking out so many people and watching the new fighters run down the ramp to get their ass kicked! XD sometimes i knock out so many people that it says eliminated on the guy running down and thats a sign from god like i know hes gonna get eliminated too!
