Nothing makes you run to god and pray like an illness. You forget whats cool and whats not and you just instinctively pray.

@sonnygll Yes, there are disagreements, but basically they are about hadiths of prophet Muhammed s.a.w.s and their authenticity, there's no scholar that disagree Quran. There's hadith of Muhammad s.a.w.s that says: "Islam will have 73 sects, all of them will go to the hell, but one, and that's the group that will follow me and my companions"..so sects are basically forbidden in Islam, but they are made because of different motives..such as politics, etc.

Yes indeed. However, much like with all religions, Islamic scholars do have their disagreements. There are different sects of the religion as well. Most religions have more moderate followers, and more fundamentalist ones.

There are some people who don't tolerate these differences though. That's more what I was getting at in that example.

@sonnygll If somebody calls himself a muslim, then automatically he accepts all rules and norms of that religion, you can't choose what do you want to pick up. Every muslim should follow prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s, and we think, that's the secret of success in this life, and in Hereafter.

No I don't think that. I think Muslims are a diverse group of people, and one can't really make such a blanket statement about them one way or the other. Many religions can include those beliefs, though not all adherents have them. Some beliefs unrelated to religion involve those too.

More often than not religion is usually the justification for someone having those beliefs rather than the cause.

I was actually attempting to pick beliefs you wouldn't respect either.
