Over 60,000 foreign soldiers are stationed in Afghanistan. The UN estimates that last year they were responsible for the deaths of more than 800 civilians. Is it impossible to avoid civilian casualties in war?
Its not easy for soldiers to spot their friends out in the field. The fear of suicide bombers and child soldiers makes the line between friend and foe blurred. Let's not make civilian casualties just a matter of numbers. One life lost is too many. UN representative to Afghanistan, Kai Eide, is concerned that the civilian death toll is costing them politically. Locals are outraged and say more needs to be done to protect the lives of innocent Afghan civilians. Dead and wounded, were lying on the ground, and I swear that they did not even give them a bottle of water. Hajil, a member of the Afghan parliament, says We look to God for our security, not to these people.

Fuck you go out there while having civilian looking fucks shooting at you with ak's then make a split decision in .225 of a second if they are civil or not. Once bullets are whizzing over your head from or directions and have you pinned down make sure not to hit any civilians. Common Taliban is the real reason civilians die as they fight dirty rather then fair. If they grew some balls and made a frontline they would get wiped out in no time ,so they use guerrilla tactics and civis like cowards
