  • you know such great poetry Michael, this is a gem, love the way the light glistens on the water, beautiful........

  • me too, was a lovely day:)

  • Nicely read. I am a huge Olds fan. In fact, just today I was favoriting some vids with her reading. I read her collection "Satan Says" when I was in college. It had a big impact on me.

  • Thanks, especially from You, who reads so beautifully . This is the first poem I've read from Olds and it hit me square. I definately will be reading more. Appreciate your kindness:)

  • Oh my...

What do you say when a poem says it perfectly?

A beautiful melding of video & reading is what I'll say, and it's the truth.

    Hugs, Christina

  • Thanks Christina. Had this poem in my heart as I had my camera out on the beach. I especially like the second picture of the woman in the sea...her smallness, yet her beautiful life...in the vastness of the sea...i do not know her, yet...:)

  • ...almost w/out self... he chose one woman instead the others...by knowing...I get to know the purity...which mates for life.

    Beautiful poem. Thank you!

  • Wonderful poem :-)

  • The ocean in his eyes. Kindness without self-regard. So much here. A wonderful find, Michael.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • Wow Michael. This was great! Love the poem and I can almost smell the salt in the air watching the waves come crashing towards the sand. Hope your trip was one to remember.
