You know, I never really liked to listen to classical music, but after i heard this song and tried to understand it, i started to listen to many other classical songs. I really love the meaning, and if you think about it, God is only what we think He is and though He goes by many names, He's stilll God, whether its a Chirstian, a Muslim, a Hindu, a Jew, a Sikh etc. who is praying to Him.

Annamayya being in thee lineage of the Ramanujacharya is not in the least trying to say that we can conjure up a form that we like.He is definitely not trying to say god is formless and the form is in our imagination.He says the paratatvam is realising that Venkatachalapathy is our protector...But people have different realisations according to their own intelligence.In gita krishna confirms this 'bahunam janamnama ante Jnanavan Mam prapadyante"..
