hi, excellsfun. what if i want to make the condition a text string instead of a number in a cell. how would i make the formula? im lost...

I do not understand all the parameters to your question, but if you wanted to highlight a row when the word "rad' was in column A and your table was in the range A1:C10, this formula might work:
=$A1="Rad"

hi, sorry. basically, like in your example above, if instead of the condition being the number (200) in that cell, the row would be colored based on the customer being Google. i tried following the "Rad" example you posted and it didnt work. thanks!
